Off Road Consulting
Off Road Consulting is based in Dundee, and owned by Dr Marjan van de Weg. Her consultancy offers advice on climate change and sustainability, and in particular the complex data analysis involved, for the third sector, governmental parties, and businesses. With over 10 years of experience in climate change related research (fieldwork, modelling, and database research), she easily switches her focus from a global to a local climate change context. Throughout her research career, Marjan’s focus has been the influence of climate change on the carbon cycle. For this, she has worked in a wide range of ecosystems, from Peruvian tropical forests and Arctic tundra, to Scottish agricultural wetlands and Dutch peat lands. Her experiences as a university lecturer, scientific editor, and STEM ambassador make her well-equipped to communicate complex environmental topics to a range of audiences, such as school children, university students, and fellow consultants.
